"A Plan To Seek Justice For Michael Jackson" had this wonderful idea to make #Justice4MJ a worldwide trending topic on Twitter on March 11th. I do not want to go into detail about the definition of "Trending Topic", please google it or in case you do not find anything, feel free to ask But let me tell you this: it's important and the idea of this event was to provide information which have not been in the media - information that maybe MJ fans or non-MJ fans did not know - an event to make people question things.
To cut a long story short. March 23rd - the event was repeated by the same group -as mentioned above- again. After some time #Justice4MJ disappeared from all Twitter lists - worldwide, countries, cities - which is impossible due to the fact that #Justice4MJ had more mentiones than Topic on e.g. No. 5. Some people (including myself) questioned that and suspected regardless of the disbelieves of other Twitter users that is has been blocked.
MJFSC/ ACMC organized their event on March, 25th and posted possibilities to change the tweets in order to be a trending topic. Regardless of this changes #Justice4MJ did not show up although of a great amount of tweets. On short notice the organizers decided to change their hashtag to #WeLoveMJ which reached the worldwide Trending Topics easily.
I have said it on tuesday - on thursday and I'm saying it today again - I haven't changed my mind since tuesday and improvements did not change my mind either. In my opinion it has been blocked - since tuesday and it was obvious (hopefully) to everyone on thursday. What the reasons may be? - we can only speculate.
Conspiracy or was #Justice4MJ reported as spam?
A way to enable the freedom of speech or too many similar tweets?
A way to stop interesting information to be read by others or too many suspended accounts?
It's up to you what to believe.
And I will end this blog by sharing my point of view on Karen Faye and Samantha. I actually did on my twitter account but unfortunately I tweet too much and my thoughts disappear after some time.
You are allowed to like them or dislike them. That is not my problem. But this bashing makes we wanna scream STFU! Providing such information on public twitter accounts make other people take over this opinion without researching on their own. But besides that - I have seen A LOT of tweets - I do research (in order to find out where the division comes from - for myself - I won't share my opinion on that) and to me it seems that people are wether bored, obsessed or very jealous. I mean, how can someone talk endlessly about that persons on twitter accounts which are only dedicated to them?? Seriously! This stupid SHIT (I say it loud and clear S-H-I-T) is distracting, and you distract yourself without knowing it (or maybe you do?). Look into other things, people that have been in Michael's life and controlled it - that is where you should look into - that are the kind of information you should provide on your damn twitter accounts. You only care about that Sam said this and that, interrupted the nurse and Eddie without considering that there was a delay on ustream and without considering the good things she said.
I'm not saying you should like them - Seriously - I am NOT - but to be a social competent person in nowadays society and to act like Michael - treat persons with respect and do not hate - that makes you look ugly.
Thanks for your attention!

Not only does it make one look ugly, but it clouds vision and judgement. When one surrounds themself in this cloud of hate, in order to see anything then they have to look out through it. And we're Michael Jackson fans. How are we representing Michael then??? By shouting names at people, hating on each other, acting childish (not childlike), warring with each other and everyone who ever once knew Michael? Think how much this hurts YOU, how much it hurts US and how much that would hurt Michael to see and hear. It doesn't mean we can't be angry or that we're not allowed to express our thoughts and feelings, but we need to do this "WITH LOVE". None of us are perfect, but if we can't even TRY collectively to do this, then what have we learned? Michael has taught so much about LOVE. Did we listen? I hope we did. I hope that after some of the drama wanes we'll be able to reflect on his message and take steps toward living it and giving it. I wish we could do that NOW, but hope and patience are also things Michael asked us for...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post, Funkey Jay :)
Oops, just saw your comment.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much and I totally agree. We are not perfect, we are allowed to have positive as well as negative emotions towards someone, but a negative emotion should not control us. Unfortunately this is still happening and I seriously ask the motivation of some people. I would wish all those people who like to bash but then saying we should spread LOVE would understand what Love is - it's not only a word - it's an emotion, it means respect as well, even respect towards people we do not like or opinions we do not share *sigh*
